Webinar: Launch of The Tech Policy Design Kit
“Never has it been more important for all policymakers of all disciplines to to understand how technology impacts on our society, our economy, and our security.”
The Hon Ed Husic MP, Minister for Industry and Science

We developed this kit in partnership with the Department of Industry, Science and Resources‘s Digital Technology Taskforce and the Tech Council of Australia. We set out to demystify the dark arts of tech policy and make it more accessible to those inside and outside of government.
It contains curated explainers of key technologies for a non-technical audience, an overview of who’s-who in tech zoo across the federal government, a step-by-step, interactive (choose you own adventure style) process for tech policy design, expert webinars on Australia’s tech sector and start-up ecosystem and much much more…
Thanks to all of our experts who contributed to our tech explainers module and to all who contributed your expertise advice and guidance during the development of the kit: Nicholas Therkelsen-Terry from Max Kelsen, Michael Hush from Q-CTRL, Mike Nicholls from Main Sequence, Stephanie Thomson and Meg Tapia from Accenture, Narelle Devine CSM from Telstra, Pablo Hinojosa from APNIC, David Masters from Atlassian, Eric Peck from Swoop Aero, IP Australia, Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) James Cameron from AirTree, and Amy Denmeade
